At Leventhal & Slaughter, P.A., founding partners Bob Leventhal and Harrison "Butch " Slaughter have more than six decades of combined experience, each having served in the United States Department of Justice as well as the United States Attorney's Office in Orlando.

Before co-founding Leventhal & Slaughter, P.A., 18 years ago, Mr. Leventhal, who graduated from the University of Florida Law School, was a trial attorney and special prosecutor for the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. and spent 11 years as an assistant U.S. attorney in Orlando, the last two of which he served as the Chief Assistant United States Attorney.

Mr. Slaughter graduated with honors from George Washington University School of Law. Upon gradation he was a special trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Tax Division, with trial assignments in the Southeastern region of the United States. He served for four years as an assistant U.S. attorney and with Leventhal prosecuted individuals and businesses charged with violating federal laws.
